NHS
Helping the NHS deliver digital patient communications and wayfinding.
For over 15 years we’ve been helping a number of NHS trusts, including Salford, Southampton, Bournemouth, Leeds and Royal Marsden to deliver improved digital communications to their patients and staff.
the challenge
The NHS has a significant requirement to be able to communicate to both staff and patients as they enter, dwell and move through their healthcare facilities. Our challenge was to deliver a variety of solutions throughout these environments at low cost and in a secure manner that requires little day-to-day resource.
Our Approach
In order to achieve this digital first approach, we provide a variety of solutions to address various use-cases within the NHS. These include:
Secure Accident + Emergency Waiting room displays
Digital displays that provide patients with entertainment, wait time information and call-forward messaging
Outpatients consultant displays
Displays that provide location details for each consultant based on dynamic diaries
Specialist department communication displays
Designed to communicate very specific facts relating to health conditions while patients wait
Interactive wayfinding
Located in entrance and arrival areas to help patients and visitors find their way across these large, complex sites
Large format sponsorship displays
Providing an easily managed and updated canvas on which hospital supporters and sponsors can be recognised
Staff communication displays
Keeping back-office staff updated with the latest information regarding their working environment and the Trust’s operations
The Outcome
Each trust we’ve worked with has had different requirements for their digital media, but in all cases, they’ve benefited from our experience in implementing secure, cost-effective and often bespoke solutions that address their needs. In all cases, their systems are supported remotely and on-site by our team of engineers and helpdesk staff.
